1. Medium

Medium is an American television series that was produced by Paramount Network Television in 2005 up until 2009 for five seasons and then CBS continued to reproduce the series for two more seasons from 2009 up until 2011. The story revolves around Allison Dubois, portrayed by Patricia Arquette, who is a medium and she works as a consultant in an attorney’s district office in Pheonix, Arizona. She helps various law enforcement agencies all over the country to solve criminal analysis and investigations.

 

2. Ghost Whisperer

Ghost Whisperer is an American supernatural and drama television series that focuses on the life of a medium, Melinda Gordon played by Jennifer Love Hewitt. She has the ability to hear, see and communicate with the dead spirits. She tries living a normal life with his husband yet on the side, she helps trapped spirits to cross over into the spirit realm. Sometimes, the spirits that she helps are uncooperative so she has a hard time deciphering clues and unfolding what needs to be done to help a certain threatening and peculiar spirit.

 

3. Psychic Detectives

Psychic Detectives is a television series that documents and archives true to life cases wherein various police divisions and departments have drafted and recorded the help of psychics in resolving and explaining a lot of strenuous and tough cases. Although the production crew did not feel the need to investigate or confirm the claims of the psychics involved, what they did was to dramatize scenes to better recreate the case with the use of crime psychics and advocates of paranormal ideology. Psychic Detectives was produced by StoryHouse Productions in 2004 and it is still airing up to date.

 

4. The 4400

The 4400 is an American fictional series that was produced by CBS Paramount Network Television in 2004. The story was about 4400 people who disappeared after being hit by an immense and gigantic ball of light in 1936. These people didn’t age since it happened and they cannot remember anything between their disappearance and their return.

 

5. Haunting Evidence

Haunting Evidence is an American documentary series that records the travels of a medium named John Oliver, a psychic investigator named Patrick Burns and a psychic profiler named Carla Baron. They travel all over the United States of America and investigate about cases of missing people and crimes that haven’t been fully resolved and explained. Their purpose is to try and answer all the possible questions about these unsolved crimes and possibly put an end to it as well.
