Compatibility Capricorn and Pisces

When we talk about Capricorn and Pisces compatibility the initial impression that comes to mind is that these two would hit it off instantaneously.  Capricorns are stable individuals, logical and sensible by nature, while Pisces are spiritual and imaginative. One would easily think that they would complement each other. That Pisces' creative imagination would bring color to a very serious Capricorn and vice versa given the day dreaming Pisces and Cap's stability and logic. However, this couple is not necessarily as good for one another as one might think.

Capricorns are earth sign, and Pisces are water sign. In nature earth and water go together, this however, is one earth and water relationship where the end result might be more a muddy landslide than a gorgeous mountain waterfall.

Capricorns are wise and spend their lifetime fixated on learning and gathering life experiences and facts, and imparts that knowledge to guide others. Pisces on the other hand are escapists who exist in a dream world, a fantasy world which they create to escape the harsh truth of the real world. Capricorns find Pisces frustratingly elusive, and find it annoying that their wisdom counts for nothing as far as the Pisces their partner is concerned. Pisces in turn find Capricorn far too realistic and practical, and is concerned by Cap’s lack of imagination and over adherence to materialism. When it boils down to it, the two signs find it extremely difficult to meet eye to eye, and when it comes to Capricorn and Pisces compatibility, that’s clearly a problem.

Both Capricorn and Pisces are dominant in nature and a further look into this couple’s difficulties comes when we look at their ruling planets. Capricorns are ruled by Saturn which invokes responsibility and realism deep in Capricorn’s core persona. On the other hand Pisces are ruled by Neptune the planet of illusion, escapism and vagueness. Neptune’s influence is what makes Pisces such a hard to pin down sign, and it’s also what makes it difficult for Pisces to accept responsibility at times. Capricorn and Pisces compatibility struggles through these differences.

However, this doesn’t mean that these two signs will always end in catastrophe when paired up with each other. In every astrological sign pairings challenges are always present, more so than others but we must always consider the factor of true love, no sign is totally immune  to Cupid’s arrow and if a Capricorn falls in love with Pisces, this relationship can work.

The two signs do have some things in common. They are both warm and loving. Pisces can be very selfless partner which fits well with Capricorn’s sense of duty. When attracted to each other, the Pisces partner’s gentle romantic nature will bring out Capricorn’s protective instincts, and the Capricorn partner’s ambition and resolve will help to ground Pisces when emotions threaten to overwhelm him or her. This will take a lot of work to achieve but it will be well worth it. These can make them good business partners, too.

When it does work well, this relationship will be calm and relatively tranquil, as Capricorns soak up some of that emotional intensity. When in love, this couple will nurture one another and create a long lasting bond.​ They both love to good wine, art, music and take pride in their cultivated tastes. Behind closed doors, Pisces detest the submissive type. Their flowy nature allows them to play the artsy rebel. Caps on the other hand have a dominant element, even cruel. They may be aloof in public, but their sensual Earth sign is a freak in the sheets. There will definitely be an adorable mess and kinky fun in the bedroom.
