Chinese Astrology
According to the Chinese system of astrology, there is a sixty year cycle of time and the year of birth of a person indicates a certain phase or aspect of this cycle. There are twelve animals, which symbolize our fate. The exact origin of this system is, however, not known. There is a legend of a bored king in heaven who asked his servant to bring twelve animals from the earth for his entertainment. The servant brought twelve animals.
