Originally a mechanical engineer, Dr. Prem Kumar Sharma turned to astrology and earned his doctorate in astrology (PhD) for his research in planetary positions. His scientific background led him to do a detailed research in astronomy, astrology, numerology, gemology and Tantras. He has studied the huge astrological literature quite intensively including the famous Lal Kitab (the Red Book, literally translated).

His predictions have been featured in many leading English and vernacular newspapers in India including the Hindustan Times, the Times of India, Indian Express, Desi Talk, a News India Group Publications, New York and many other publications. He has also appeared in the national T V news channels, and has participated in many celebrity talk shows.
