What is Numerology?

Numerology is basically the study of numbers. Over the years, I have been asked many a time “What’s my number?” Some people say that they find it hard to understand how to calculate their numbers, and in the beginning I felt the same. Like life itself, it can be difficult to work out certain problems or situations, but if we persevere we eventually get the idea of what it is all about, and a whole new level of awareness may open up to us.

Numerology has guided me through some of best and some of the worst times in my life. It has given me the understanding that we all go through certain experiences and learning in our lives, that assists us in growing as a person, and universal being. I am grateful that I took the time, those many years ago to study Numerology. It has given me an inspiring view of the wonders in life itself.

• Numerology is the study of numbers. It deals with the relationship of number with how events happen in one’s life. It also lets one determine what the world can provide them.
• Numerology is believed to deal with the divine and mystic nature which closely borders on supernatural side of life. It provides such significance which lets a person know more about him/her through paranormal cases.
• Numerology is not a part of scientific mathematics but pseudo mathematics. It does not deal with the usual Arithmetic but uses its concept to provide the divine meanings entailed on numbers. It is a powerful tool to know how luck can help one achieve a better future.
• Numerology does not deal with predicting the future. It lets one know how his/her qualities can affect his/her life and thus issue an uncertain but conceptually available future. Numbers can help you make or break a decision in life. It reveals your personality as well as qualities you may possess.

History of Numerology

• Numerology was believed to originate from the ancient Greek mathematics. There have been mathematicians who used numbers to provide patterns in games, writing or even just the simple way of solving problems.
• Numerology evolved through time. There are many cultures which adapted the practice of Numerology in their cultural dealings. With this, numbers have been a part of the daily lives of some people. Among the popular cultures which used numbers in living their daily events are China, Africa and Islam countries.
• Numerology published different disciplines. It has grown over through time and found its comfort in decades. With this, many people have become a fan of Numerology. With this, life has become much easier through the understanding of how numbers can affect one’s life.

• There are many types of numerology. It depends on the place on which it started. With this, a great of numerology have evolved and differ from one place to another. The most popular type of numerology is that of Pythagoras. It deals with the association of letters with numbers from numbers one to nine. A single digit represents a certain meaning. Using the number equivalent of letter can help you know more about your name and how it affects your personality. Use your name to calculate your personality and understand more about it.
